Basketball Recap: Service Wins High-Profile Game Against Ketchikan

On Saturday, Service faced Ketchikan in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Service Cougars came out on top against the Ketchikan Kings by a score of 63-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Service's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Ketchikan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6.

When Service and Ketchikan next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Service will try to stop Bettye Davis East Anchorage's ten-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Service is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road dating back to last season. Meanwhile, Ketchikan will take on Sitka and their ten-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
