Ithaca high school football team tops Williamston as Smith throws for five touchdowns.

After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Travis Smith to Josh Hafner in the first quarter, Ithaca (Mich.) was up 43-13 at the half.

The Yellowjackets grew their lead to 44 points entering the fourth quarter. Ithaca scored two times in the third, including once on a Smith touchdown pass to Jacob Smith.

IHS scored 29 points in the second quarter on the way to a win. The Yellowjackets scored on a kick return touchdown by Logan Hessbrook, a touchdown pass by Smith to Aaron Barnes, a touchdown pass by Smith and a Bryan Shaw touchdown run in the quarter.



Smith stood out for Ithaca in the win.

Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 44-28 win for IHS.
