Basketball Recap: Tom Bean Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

If Trenton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Tom Bean, they should've done a better job of containing Maguire Poole. The Tom Bean Tomcats blew past the Trenton Tigers 52-22 on Friday thanks in part to Poole, who went 8 of 16 en route to 19 points and six steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Another player making a difference was Chase Stratton, who posted eight points in addition to six boards and five steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.

Tom Bean has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Trenton, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.

Tom Bean will venture away from home to challenge Honey Grove at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trenton, they will host Bland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
