Softball Recap: Randolph Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Randolph's offense. They came up short against the Marion Bulldogs on Friday, falling 15-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Ro-Hawks in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Randolph's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Marion, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Randolph will square off against rival Poteet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Marion is set to challenge their familiar foe Cole at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
