Volleyball Recap: Sierra Grande Takes a Loss

Sierra Grande lost against Primero back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15.

Eneria Quintana paced Sierra Grande's offense, picking up nine kills. Quintana got some help from Audrianna Gerardo and her 11 assists. Finally, Ashly Rodriguez kept Sierra Grande's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Sierra Grande's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Primero, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Sierra Grande has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Trinidad on the 30th. As for Primero, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Raton on the 30th.
