Madison came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Johnson Jaguars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-4 back in March.

Mia Zamora made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Zamora was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kayla Eaton, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Tori Gonzales was another key player, going 1-for-5 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Madison's record is now 17-7. As for Johnson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.
