Arlington won the last time they faced Briarcrest Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Saints a 10-0 shutout. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Brittanie Layton made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Layton was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with four RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Tatum Bittick was a standout: she scored two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 11 contests. Lillian Hatch was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

Arlington kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive matchups.
