Baseball Recap: Snyder Comes Up Short

Snyder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Burns Flat-Dill City Eagles, falling 18-7. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-3 defeat last Thursday.

Snyder's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Burns Flat-Dill City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Snyder will face off against Hollis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hollis has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.58 runs per game on average), something Snyder will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Burns Flat-Dill City, they will host Cordell at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
