Football Game Preview: Muscle Shoals Trojans vs. Austin Black Bears + How To Watch

The Muscle Shoals Trojans will challenge the Austin Black Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Muscle Shoals will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Muscle Shoals gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They took down Hartselle 31-17. Muscle Shoals' victory was all the more impressive since the Tigers were averaging only 9.89 points allowed on the season.

Muscle Shoals didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Tylan Smith.

Meanwhile, Austin got the win against Grissom on Friday by a conclusive 35-14. The Black Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Austin's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Muscle Shoals, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Muscle Shoals was able to grind out a solid win over Austin in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 29-22. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Black Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
