He has become a key player for Santa Rosa Academy: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-5 otherwise. Meanwhile, everything went Cornerstone Christian's way against Calvary Baptist on Tuesday as Cornerstone Christian made off with a 12-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won nine in a row.
Cornerstone Christian let Ben Frazier and Jesse Villicana run wild. Frazier scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Villicana went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most runs Frazier has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of David Meinardus, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Cornerstone Christian's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Santa Rosa Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
