Volleyball Recap: Hillsboro Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dominion Academy on Monday, Hillsboro Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Crusaders fell 3-1 to Milford Christian on Tuesday. The Crusaders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Milford Christian earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Hillsboro Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-14, 25-17, 25-20.

Hillsboro Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Milford Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Coming up, Hillsboro Christian Academy will take on CHESS Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Crusaders' favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while the Royals have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. Milford Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
