Basketball Recap: Dermott Takes a Loss

After flying high against Arkansas School for the Deaf last Thursday, Dermott came back down to earth. The Dermott Rams had to suffer through a 53-24 loss at the hands of the Clarendon Lions.

Dermott's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-10. As for Clarendon, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dermott won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Scott Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarendon, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Marvell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
