Football Recap: Carlisle Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Carlisle fell victim to Chambersburg and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Thundering Herd can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Trojans are ranked 154th).

Carter Wilson threw for 64 yards on eight of 16 attempts. Mickel Hakim was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards.

Carlisle is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7. As for Chambersburg, they moved to 3-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Carlisle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 57-19 defeat against Cedar Cliff on the 10th. As for Chambersburg, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-10 victory against Altoona on the 10th.
