Carroll is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Chargers will welcome the Cadets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Carroll's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over Columbia City. Carroll's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last eight matchups.

Their offense was hitting Columbia City from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Joey Casaburo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran got the win against Fort Wayne Snider on Tuesday by a conclusive 5-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Fort Wayne Snider are ranked 244th).

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Carroll, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1-1.
