Recap: Atlanta Rabbits vs. Gladewater Bears
The Atlanta Rabbits lost against the Gladewater Bears on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Atlanta fell 28-20 to Gladewater. That makes it the first time this season Atlanta has let down their home crowd.
Peyton Harrison threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns. Jalarrion Andrews was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards.
Gladewater was led to victory by Kyron Wilson and Carsin Cooper. Wilson rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while Cooper rushed for 202 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.8 yards per carry.
The team's defense also helped out by holding Atlanta to a paltry 196 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Gladewater's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid him out three times before it was all said and done. Leading the way was Tristan Collins and his two sacks.
Atlanta's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Gladewater, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.
Atlanta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Gladewater also has no future games currently scheduled.
