Basketball Game Preview: Fleming Wildcats vs. Union Colony Prep Timberwolves

Fleming is on a ten-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Union Colony Prep a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Saturday. The Fleming Wildcats will host the Union Colony Prep Timberwolves at 2:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Fleming ended up a good deal behind Stratton and lost 56-40. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 316th, while the Eagles are ranked 151st).

Meanwhile, Union Colony Prep didn't have quite enough to beat Belleview Christian on Thursday and fell 55-52.

Union Colony Prep's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Fleming, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Fleming came up short against Union Colony Prep when the teams last played back in December of 2019, falling 61-51. Thankfully for Fleming, Trey Summers (who went 9 for 18 on his way to 23 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists) won't be suiting up this time.
