Basketball Recap: Estill County Takes a Loss

Estill County was the 66-59 winner over Boyd County when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Estill County Engineers were dealt a 91-55 loss at the hands of the Boyd County Lions on Thursday.

Estill County has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Boyd County, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Estill County will challenge Owsley County at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boyd County, they will welcome Russell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boyd County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matches -- so hopefully Russell likes a good challenge.
