Soccer Game Preview: Perry vs. Browne

The Perry Pumas will challenge the Browne Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Perry is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Casteel, who was ranked second at the time (Perry was ranked sixth). Perry took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Casteel on Wednesday. The Pumas' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Browne earned a 3-1 victory over Cesar Chavez on Wednesday.

Lorelie Tavizon and Gianna Arenivar scored all three of Browne's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Perry's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5. As for Browne, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-7-1.
