St. Johns has gone 6-0 against Charlotte recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The St. Johns Redwings will be home for the holidays to greet the Charlotte Orioles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

St. Johns is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Williamston just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 41-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The loss was the Redwings' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Charlotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-45 heartbreaker at the hands of Quincy.

Despite the defeat, Charlotte saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Peyton Howarth went 9 of 16 from beyond the arc on her way to 29 points. The dominant performance gave Howarth a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Silvas, who posted six points and nine assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Johns fell to 3-1. As for Charlotte, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

St. Johns was able to grind out a solid win over Charlotte when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 58-45. Will St. Johns repeat their success, or does Charlotte have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
