Basketball Recap: Lame Deer Takes a Loss

Lame Deer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Baker Spartans, falling 79-23. The contest marked the Morning Stars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lame Deer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Baker, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Lame Deer has already played their next matchup, a 73-43 loss against Shepherd on the 1st. As for Baker, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Huntley Project at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Huntley Project knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Baker likes a good challenge.
