Softball Game Preview: Pickerington North Panthers vs. Granville Blue Aces

The Pickerington North Panthers will take on the Granville Blue Aces in a tournament on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pickerington North fell victim to Bloom-Carroll and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Pickerington North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Mickey, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Kaylani Meadows also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Granville came up short against Watkins Memorial on Friday, falling 10-3. The Blue Aces have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Granville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Pickerington North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season.
