Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Babylon). They blew past the Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats, posting a 56-20 victory. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 244th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Babylon's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.2 points over those games. As for Shoreham-Wading River, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Babylon will welcome Miller Place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Babylon will need to watch out since Miller Place has now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for Shoreham-Wading River, they will host Port Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
