Volleyball Recap: Estancia Comes Up Short

Estancia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Savanna Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in March.

While Estancia was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Savanna's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19, 25-23.

Estancia's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Savanna, their victory bumped their record up to 16-5.

Coincidentally, Estancia and Savanna will both be playing Century the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Centurions at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Rebels will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
