On Wednesday Sebastian Hernandez tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The performance marked the fewest hits Hernandez has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his seventh in a row with less than two walks. This season, he has an ERA of 2.76 over 12.7 innings pitched.

Hernandez's effort led Carson over Rancho Dominguez and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Carson is a perfect 9-0 against Rancho Dominguez going back to March of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
