Basketball Game Preview: Fife Trojans vs. Sequim Wolves

The Fife Trojans will venture away from home to square off against the Sequim Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Saturday, Fife was beaten by Olympic 65-35. The game marked Fife's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Sequim put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 59-42 victory over WF West. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Bearcats are ranked 251st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sequim's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Fife, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Fife might still be hurting after the 55-33 defeat they got from Sequim in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Fife avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
