Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hilton Head Island). Everything went their way against the Bluffton Bobcats on Wednesday as they made off with a 19-8 win. This was a revenge game for the Seahawks: when they faced off against the Bobcats on Tuesday, they had to take a 7-4 loss.

Jackson Hollman looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Hilton Head Island got a massive performance out of Slater Alsobrook, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. The dominant performance also gave Alsobrook a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Collin Lozan, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI and one run.

Hilton Head Island was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .436. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Hilton Head Island is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Bluffton, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-7.

Hilton Head Island will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bobcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
