Cocoa's Antwan Lee recorded the longest rushing play in 4A District 5 this season in his game against Cocoa Beach last week. Lee scampered for 65 yards on the play and finished with 176 on the day as his team defeated the Minutemen.
Jones suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after beating Lake Highland Prep. The Fightin' Tigers had been ranked 23rd, but fell to 26 following the defeat.
Cocoa's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jaelon Knowles has thrown for 169 yards this season, while Rakeem Murray has two catches for 56 yards. Lee leads the league in rushing with 534 yards.
Cocoa was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Cocoa Beach. John Wilkinson's team came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 29 last week.
