Hamilton and Casteel are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Huskies will venture away from home to square off against the Colts at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

On Saturday, Hamilton needed a bit of extra time to put away Perry. They skirted past the Pumas 12-11. That's two games straight that the Huskies have won by just one run.

Meanwhile, Casteel faced Notre Dame Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Colts sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Saints. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hamilton's record now sits at 15-8. As for Casteel, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 18-5 record this season.

Hamilton couldn't quite finish off Casteel in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 and fell 9-7. Can the Huskies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
