Football Recap: Wayland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wayland lost against Thornapple Kellogg back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats took a blow against the Trojans, falling 41-14. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Micah Dock was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for seven yards and one TD, and also threw for 62 yards and one touchdown on only five passes.

Wayland now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Thornapple Kellogg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Wayland and Thornapple Kellogg will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wildcats will face off against rival Forest Hills Eastern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Thornapple Kellogg is set to square off against their familiar foe Ottawa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
