Brayden Simpson gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April on Saturday. He was dialed in as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. He was up against Overbrook and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in April of 2024. Simpson also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Timber Creek Regional is 4-2 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 3-7 otherwise.
