Franklin Central hasn't lost a match since September 2nd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They and the Southport Cardinals finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Rory O'Connor hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Franklin Central's goal came courtesy of Aidan Walker, who's now up to five this season.

With that draw, Franklin Central's record moves to 4-6-3. As for Southport, they moved theirs to 4-2-5.

Coming up, Franklin Central will take on Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory in a tournament on Monday. As for Southport, they will be playing at home against Bloomington North at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Bloomington North will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Southport surely won't give up without a fight.
