Recap: Alta Hawks vs. West Jordan Jaguars
The Alta Hawks put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past West Jordan 72-50. Alta might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three contests by 22 points or more this season.
Alta got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaxon Johnson out in front who almost dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists. Those nine assists set a new season-high mark for Johnson. Ace Reiser was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Alta's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for West Jordan, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alta will be home for the holidays to greet Woods Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Woods Cross will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 114th, while Alta is ranked second). West Jordan will be home for the holidays to greet Skyridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
