Basketball Recap: Klondike Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Klondike couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost to the Valley Patriots on the road by a 61-45 margin on Friday. The Cougars have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Klondike's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-3 record this season.

Klondike does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley, they will face off against Happy on Monday. Happy will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
