Carthage led Section 3 Class A - National in scoring this week by notching 58 points on Bodley.
Oswego's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Alex Makin contributed 145 yards.
Makin was a passing and rushing force as the Bucs beat Hudson.
Garrett Skinner and Makin gave Oswego a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Skinner threw for 55 yards, while Makin ran for 145 yards. Teammate RYAN LAVNER added to the ground attack by rushing for 45 yards.
Oswego's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Bucs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Garrett Dunsmoor has thrown for 216 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, while Makin has 6 catches for 121 yards.
In 114 carries Makin has put up 954 yards this year.
Indian River made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,007 from 3,207. The advance stemmed from a 35-8 victory over New Hartford last week.
