Gahr was sadly handed a loss on Wednesday, but Bella Gonzalez did her best to prevent it. Gonzalez pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The effort marked the fewest hits she has had since back in March.

Gonzalez and Gahr will head out to challenge Mayfair at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The last time Gonzalez took on the Monsoons, she was just phenomenal, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk).
