Basketball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mt. Pleasant lost against Washington back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mt. Pleasant Panthers had to suffer through a 58-26 loss at the hands of the Washington Demons. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Mt. Pleasant's record now sits at 3-12. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

Mt. Pleasant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-48 defeat against Mediapolis on the 1st. As for Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-53 loss against Mid-Prairie on the 3rd.
