Soccer Game Preview: Sterling vs. Bennett

Sterling will face off against Bennett at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Sterling is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Weld Central on Thursday. Neither the Tigers nor the Rebels could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Bennett had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They never let the Timberwolves get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Reese West was a massive factor in the win as she booted in five goals all by herself.

Sterling's draw gives them a new season record of 3-3-1. As for Bennett, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
