Basketball Recap: Northside - Pinetown Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

Northside - Pinetown extended their home winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Zi'Mier Alexander. The Northside - Pinetown Panthers blew past the Pamlico County Hurricanes 77-35 on Monday thanks in part to Alexander, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (five).

Nick Moore was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.

Northside - Pinetown is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Pamlico County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

Northside - Pinetown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 80-29 victory against Jones on the 4th.
