Mountain Vista has gone 9-1 against Rock Canyon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mountain Vista Golden Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rock Canyon Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Kennedy Spellman and Brooke Harding.

Last Tuesday, Mountain Vista had to suffer through a 78-36 loss at the hands of Legend. While losing is never fun, the Golden Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Titans are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, Rock Canyon waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They snuck past the Warriors with a 58-53 win.

Rock Canyon is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.1 points per game. As for Mountain Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Mountain Vista didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Rock Canyon in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 66-61 victory.
