Baseball Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for St. Paul's offense. They came up short against the Sacred Heart Indians on Friday, falling 6-0. The Cardinals' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Sacred Heart, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. St. Paul will face off against rival Bracken Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sacred Heart is set to challenge their familiar foe Hill Country Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
