Tupelo Christian Prep confuses opposing defense on touchdown run.

Video: Who has the ball?
Tupelo Christian Prep (Miss.) baffles defense with trick play.

Deception. Misdirection. "Trickeration."

Whatever name you give it, it's always fun to watch. And this play by Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, Miss.) is no exception.

The first time you watch this, you'll probably have no idea what's going on. Don't worry, neither did the Macon Road Baptist (Memphis, Tenn.) defense.

In case you're still having trouble figuring it out, here's what happens:

Quarterback Caleb Kitchens takes the snap, and before rolling out to his right he places the ball between the legs and into the hands of a crouching John Mark Jolly. While the defense chases the action on one side, Jolly sprints to the other side and outruns the entire Macon Road Baptist defense all the way to the end zone.

It's worth a replay or two.

Tupelo Christian Prep went on to win the game 41-13 to improve to 5-1 on the season, and provided a memory for the seniors to discuss at the 10-year reunion.
