Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nipomo). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Santa Ynez Pirates a 19-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Alyssa Van Muysen was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring five runs and stealing a base while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
