Cheverus and Scarborough pushed the score to 19-2 the last time they played Scarborough, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Stags walked away with a 4-0 win over the Red Storm. Winning may never get old, but the Stags sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

Cameron Gagnon and Hailey Lamontagne did most of the damage at the plate: Gagnon went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Lamontagne went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Gagnon a new career-high.

Cheverus hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in six consecutive contests.

Cheverus' record is now 18-4. As for Scarborough, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.
