Volleyball Recap: Union Preparatory Takes a Loss

The Union Preparatory Polar Bears lost 3-0 to the Socrates Academy Owls on Friday.

While Union Preparatory was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Socrates Academy's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-10, 25-20.

Union Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Union Preparatory and Socrates Academy will both be playing Union Day the next time they take the court. The Polar Bears will head out to face the Gryphons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Owls will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on the 19th.
