Basketball Recap: Hartfield Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Ashleigh Ernst and Ella Jackson

Hartfield Academy lost against Presbyterian Christian on January 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hartfield Academy Hawks fell 43-35 to the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hartfield Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ella Jackson, who posted 11 points and six boards, and Ashleigh Ernst, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Hollyn Thrasher, who had seven points and six rebounds.

Hartfield Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Presbyterian Christian, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-9 record.
