Basketball Recap: Mullan Comes Up Short

Mullan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Coeur du Christ Academy Saints 65-31. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-10 back in December of 2025.

Mullan's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Coeur du Christ Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Coming up, Mullan will venture away from home to face off against Kootenai at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Coeur du Christ Academy, they will take on Priest River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
