Basketball Recap: East Side's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

East Side can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 26-15 win over the KIPP Newark Lab Sharks.

The victory got East Side back to even at 1-1. As for KIPP Newark Lab, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Side will be home for the holidays to greet Verona at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. KIPP Newark Lab and Elmwood Park will round out the year against one another at at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
