Basketball Recap: Hannah Brown's Big Game Can't Quite Lead New Life Camp over Chatham Homeschool

New Life Camp lost against Chatham HomeSchool back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The New Life Camp Storm took a hard 70-53 fall against the Chatham HomeSchool Thunder. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Life Camp lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Hannah Brown, who posted 22 points and three steals. She is becoming a predictor of New Life Camp's success: when she posts at least 15 points the team is 7-2 (and 2-9 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Caroline Brown, who earned 19 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

New Life Camp's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Chatham HomeSchool, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.

New Life Camp does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chatham HomeSchool, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-37 defeat against South Wake on the 22nd.
