A Season-Best Performance from Jaxon Roberts Leads Buena over Royal
Buena was led to victory by Jaxon Roberts, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Roberts rushed for 318 yards and five touchdowns on only ten carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

Tyler Hoff Turns in Season-Best Performance

Garcia Came Up Big in Ventura's 36-35 Victory
Ventura took down Moorpark on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Derek Garcia's standout performance. Garcia did his part (and then some), throwing for 215 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in a rushing score for the 'W'.
For the season, Garcia has thrown 19 touchdowns while averaging 242.6 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had 11 passing touchdowns.

Tillman Lovett Delivers Electric Performance Vs Oxnard
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Tillman Lovett stepped things up a notch to give Oak Park the 'W'. Lovett turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 270 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.
This season, Lovett has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 195 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had six passing touchdowns.

Caden Pugh Delivers Best Effort of Season
Sadly, Caden Pugh posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Royal over Buena on Thursday. Pugh rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Royal is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. Pugh and Royal are taking a road trip to challenge Ventura at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
