Baseball Recap: Vale Comes Up Short

Vale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 11-6 to the Irrigon Knights. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 12-2 to the Knights when the teams met back in May of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Vale's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Irrigon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Vale will take on Nestucca in a tournament on Saturday. As for Irrigon, they will be taking part in a tournament against Knappa at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
